Dan Hanson started Hanson Electronics in 1997.  Dan had worked in the Consumer Electronics Industry for 13 years before opening his own Radio Shack and US Cellular store in Stoughton, WI in 1997.  He opened his second full store in Evansville, WI in December of 2000 and followed with a store in Oregon, WI in November of 2001.  Hanson’s now employs a team of over 20 members with combined Experience working at Hanson’s of over 135 years.

Dan and his wife Jodi were both raised in the Stoughton area and have 2 adult children. When asked what is the best part of owning a business they will say it is their and their staff's involvement in the communities where the stores are located.
They feel fortunate to be able to provide products and services that are needed in their communities and are happy to support the many wonderful activities, programs, special needs, and events that every community has.

 

With 35 years in the Consumer Electronics business Dan has seen many changes. He will tell you the one thing that has not changed is his philosophy is to always provide the best customer service possible. The Hanson Electronics Team is encouraged to never use the word no. “We will always try to fulfill our Customers requests, desires and every need”.
